Designer Emraan Rajput was not present at the Lux Style Awards this year – but his presence was certainly felt.
One after the other, an entire entourage of the event’s attendees came walking in, wearing sophisticated suits, jackets, tuxes, et al, that the designer is renowned for. The shrinking down of fashion categories at the awards – menswear, for instance, has been completely eliminated! – may have dissuaded many of the fashion fraternity from attending the awards but it was veritably thanks to designers, including Emraan, that there was a lot of style to be seen on the red carpet.

The actor, who won the Best TV Drama Actor (Critics’ Choice) trophy that night, wore an all-black, impeccably tailored suit.

Muhammad Husnain Mahmood, better known in the fashion circuit as photographer extraordinaire MHM, wore an all-white Emraan Rajput suit, the only color being added in by a black pocket-square and bow-tie. What a grand, grand look!
Sauban Umais
Fashion model Sauban Umais cut a very sophisticated figure in his Emraan Rajput tuxedo. Subtle and elegantly tailored, it was the perfect choice for the model, who was nominated in the Best Model and the Best Emerging Talent in Fashion categories.
Kaifi Khalil
Kaifi Khalil’s young, fuss-free persona was embodied in the Korean loose-cut designed for him by Emraan Rajput. The singer wore the outfit when he performed two of his biggest hits of last year on the LSA stage.
